Our Harvest service will be a family service at St Anne’s Strathpeffer at 10.30am on Sunday 7th October. We will be supporting the Highland Foodbank and ask that you bring a food donation if you are able.
Highland Foodbank provides emergency food packages with enough food to last 3 meals for 3 days to people who would otherwise go hungry.
People in crisis are referred to Highland Foodbank by a variety of different organisations including social work teams, schools and CABs. Foodbank volunteers take time to listen and signpost clients to further support.
So please support local people in crisis by donating an item from the list:-
Jars of pasta sauce
Tins of tuna
Tins of mince/stew
Cartons of (UHT) milk
Washing powder (small)
If you bring your contribution to the service we will arrange for it to go to the foodbank.
