Here is the latest advice from The Scottish Episcopal Church

https://www.scotland.anglican.org/coronavirus-cessation-of-church-services/

All services and meetings at St James & St Anne are suspended until further notice. The Church Hall is closed until further notice. We are exploring options for virtual worship. Meanwhile St James Church will be open daily for those who wish to come and pray or simply use it as a contemplative space.

If attending please wash your hands before arrival and when you return home. If you have hand sanitiser please use it on arrival. While in the church respect the advice to socially distance from anyone else present at the time.

A message from Revd Julia :-

If you are self-isolating or unwell or unable to get out for any reason I am very happy to do shopping, get medicines etc as required and leave them in an agreed spot. Please do not hesitate to get in touch by email or phone. You will find all my contact details on the contacts page of this website.

If you are feeling in need of someone to talk to on the phone, or If you would like a regular check up call from me please also let me know and do pass on my contact details to anyone you know who is in need of any kind.

I will of course be praying for God’s strength and help for us all but if you become ill or are finding the situation difficult, please do let me know so that I can pray for you by name and also ask members of our church healing team to do the same.

I will also be setting up a  thought for the day meditation on the church website and Facebook page which you can access at

I leave you with a verse from the Psalmist

“God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.”

May God’s peace surround you and yours

Reverend Julia
