“A joyful congregation met in St James’ on Sunday to celebrate the Patronal festival.
It was the first time the church has been able to open since the start of the last lockdown and the first time the congregation had met since Covid guidelines were adjusted for 1 metre social distancing.
Following some structural work on the building the congregation were able to gather to celebrate and whilst the church will not host worship every week it is good to be able to celebrate special occasions again at St James’.
Currently there is a monthly service at St Anne’s Strathpeffer on the first Sunday of each month and the other services are planned at different venues and some will continue online.
We hope to hold our Harvest Festival at St James on 25th September.
